You have covered the shared language of defensive signalling, focusing on the Standard system of Attitude, Count, and Suit Preference. You learned that high means encouraging for attitude, high-low shows an even number for count, and suit preference points to a side entry when the other signals are irrelevant. We also introduced the Smith Peters signal to answer the persist-or-shift problem and the importance of not leaking information to the declarer through your discards.
